Basic Information About Legal Fees at The Law Offices of Lloyd A. Malech
Family Law: We offer reasonable and competitive rates for legal services related to divorce and child custody and support, as well as domestic violence. Confidential initial consultations are available for an affordable flat rate. If you choose to hire our law firm, we will sign a contract spelling out legal fees in detail. We handle some cases for a flat fee; for others we charge an hourly rate. In either case, we will ask for a retainer (payment of all or part of the legal fees up front) at the beginning of our representation. The initial consultation fee will be applied toward that retainer. Of course, any unearned portion of the retainer fee shall be returned to you.
